PIVOT: Community Sexual Health Promotion Training
for 2STLGBQ+ Folks Aged 18+
The PIVOT program is a free community health leadership program that equips 2STLGBQ+ folks with the community connection, health knowledge, and health promotion skills they need to be leaders in their communities. Over the four days, we’ll cover a range of health topics that matter to our community, including critical issues relating to sexual and reproductive health, systems and how we can change them, mental health, queer history, and fatphobia and ageism.
By the end, you’ll gain skills to support our community and have the opportunity to design and launch a local community health promotion activity.
This is a free program for 2STLGBQ+ people ages 18+.
This training will take place:
Saturday, Oct. 14,10 am – 4 pm
Saturday, Oct. 21, 10 am – 4 pm
Saturday, Nov. 4, 10 am – 4 pm
Sunday, Nov. 12, 10 am – 4 pm
The training is meant to span over all four sessions, so please try to attend all of them.
Please note that this program is happening in Brandon, MB at Brandon Tourism (Riverbank Discovery Centre), 545 Conservation Drive.
