SERC has a second office located at Unit B, 345-10th Street, in Brandon, Manitoba that serves the Westman area. Staff offer community education, youth education, and service provider training, as well as consultations and referrals.

In addition to offering community, youth, and service provider education, SERC Brandon also offers a free on-site lending library. The library collection includes a variety of titles on topics such as family communication, sexuality and sexual and reproductive health, relationships, 2STLGBQ+, and more!

The SERC Brandon office also features a private entry foyer where people can access free safer sex supplies and other harm reduction supplies. To access this private foyer, simply use the door on 10th street.

2STLGBQ+ Program

The SERC Brandon office houses the 2STLGBQ+ Program, offering affirming and supportive programming for  Two-Spirit, Transgender, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Questioning (2STLGBQ+) individuals, families and friends in Brandon and Western Manitoba.

SERC Brandon’s 2STLGBQ+ Program supports our community by:

  • Providing 2STLGBQ+ awareness & support education, training, consultation and outreach
  • Running monthly all-ages social and peer support groups for those in the 2STLGBQ+ community
  • Hosting and curating a 2STLGBQ+ resource library
  • Providing referrals for those looking for further learning or connections
  • Supporting 2STLGBQ+ communities by tabling at events
  • Offering 2STLGBQ+ counselling and support – e-mail for more information or to schedule an appointment
