Our ERMY peers
- 35 youth participated; (19 individual interviews, 16 focus groups).
- 21 male and 14 female (aged 16 to 28, average age of 21.8)
- Ethno-cultural or national backgrounds include: Southeast and South Asia (East Indian, South Indian, Filipino, Chinese, and Laotian), the Middle East (Lebanese), the Caribbean (Jamaican, Guyanese, Trinidadian, and Barbadian), Latin America (El Salvadorian) and Africa (Eritrean, Ethiopian, Nigerian, Togolese, Malian, Sudanese, Tanzanian, and Zimbabwean). Some participants had multiple ethnic backgrounds.
