Incels, pick-up artists, and #TradWives all rely on a radical gender ideology that believes in rigid gender norms that are often sold as “natural” or “traditional.” This trend of radicalization has been shown to cause acts of violence. Have you seen these trends in your community? This introductory half-day workshop will touch on some of the basics as well as some information on how to de-radicalize people who these ideologies have influenced.

This session is part of the Ongoing Learning Hub. The Hub offers comprehensive full-day training opportunities, Webinars, and lunch-and-learn-style events to support service providers in Manitoba. Each draws on expertise, up-to-date research, evidence-based approaches, and local resources to enhance knowledge, skills, and awareness of sexuality issues. Launched in 2024, SERC offers training online on our Learning Management System at your own pace. New courses will be added each year.
