Join us on Wednesday, June 14 from 5:30-6:30 pm CDT for our Annual General Meeting. We will review the 2022-23 fiscal year. This year’s AGM will feature a presentation from guest speaker Adrienne Huard.

Adrienne Huard (they/them) is a Two-Spirit Anishinaabe curator, writer, Sundancer, scholar, and performer. They are a registered member of Couchiching First Nation in Treaty 3 territory, and currently reside in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where they were born and raised. Adrienne is a Ph.D. candidate in Indigenous Studies at the University of Manitoba, researching Two-Spirit, trans, and queer Indigenous critiques, aesthetics, and visual culture. Launched in April 2022, Adrienne co-edited a special guest issue of the Journal of Visual Culture with Dr. Gabrielle Moser, titled “Reparation and Visual Culture.” This thematic edition examined the critical roles that art and aesthetics play in the act of reparation while specifically engaging with Black, Indigenous, and diasporic art histories.
